Greenwood is a tuition-driven school; it has only a small endowment; therefore, gifts are important to Greenwood’s overall financial health and vitality. We are pleased that so many alumni, parents, grandparents and friends support the school in this way. Greenwood would not be the school it is without your support.

The Greenwood School is a private, nonprofit school. It receives no monies from state, federal or religious institutions. Our sources of revenue are tuition, Annual Giving and endowments. Our future is as bright as our students. We look to provide the best education and expand our facilities. Your participation is especially needed.

Every year as a current parent or an alumnus, you will receive a request for financial support for Greenwood. We understand that many parents feel their tuition is substantial and should be enough of a contribution. However, please understand that tuition does not cover the full cost of educating a Greenwood student.

Your contribution, whatever its size, goes right to the bottom line and the basics, whether it is new classroom equipment or teacher salaries.

The goal of annual giving is 100 percent parent participation. Please do your part!
