The Greenwood School: The Preeminent Boarding School for Boys with Learning Differences

Admissions
students in row boat The Greenwood School enrolls 40 boys and has an average of 12 to 14 openings per year. Our students come from the United States, Canada, and from overseas. We admit boys between the ages of nine and 14 years. We recognize the disparity that may exist between a child's chronological and developmental age and therefore make periodic exceptions to our age cut-off.

We seek to enroll students who have been diagnosed with: dyslexia; specific language-based learning disabilities / learning differences (LD); receptive language and/or expressive language deficits; executive functioning deficits; attentional difficulties (ADD or ADHD); disorders of written expression; dysgraphia; or speech and language needs. In fact, a combination of these learning disabilities / learning differences (LD) are often clustered together in most Greenwood students' learning profiles.

We invite interested families to visit the school and learn about Greenwood firsthand.

Greenwood School is a nonprofit corporation and welcomes students of every race, religion, ethnic background, and national origin.

If you have additional questions or wish to discuss the application process, please write or call Greenwood's admissions director, Melanie Miller.
